He loves his wife, adores his kids—the thing is, sometimes his life is a balancing act between duty, honor and family. A naval aviator recently assigned to being a desk jockey, he is less than thrilled with the lack of action until the technocrats and bureaucrats prove just as—if not more—heart-pounding than flying jets. What Bart creates in the newest sect of cyber warfare will unleash a wicked, wicked presence in international network-centric warfare. The book is a gripping tale of terrorist plots intertwined with American intelligence. It is very easy to read, but at times I was UN-easy with the detail. However, this is part of the story. I really hope that America has real "Honey Pot's" out there. I sure would feel more secure in knowing that. - C W "A new form of American Justice that will have you saluting at the end. Wander has spun a tail on the level of Clancy, Webb, and Flynn. A truly unique approach to counter-terrorism. A roller-coaster of plot twists and turns right up until the riveting conclusion. This is a must read for anyone that enjoys books about espionage, covert operations, and counter-terrorism. " - Tony S Brilliant. Stunning. Genius in its creativity. Absolutely jaw-dropping. The author brings to the table all the relevant talking points that should be involved in a national discussion on the issue of Islamic terrorism including how liberal media plays into the hands of jihadist goals. Enriching in its working explanation of Islam and its agenda, there are parts of this book that you will love and parts that you will hate, for it does not take you where you think you are going. Somebody in Washington or Quantico should be reading this book. -Van V Codename Honey Pot is an intriguing, suspenseful glimpse into the creativity that must be tapped to win the war on terror. The well-written book quickly introduces multiple plot lines that converge into a surprising finale. It grabs your attention from the first sentence and does not let your mind rest until the last page. - Patricia S Excellent read! Once I started I was not able to put it down until I was finished. This book did not disappoint at all. There is no lack of action and suspense in this book. It will keep you on a literary roller coaster until the end. This is a must read. - Morgan M Great book. A balanced mix of fiction and reality that makes you think about the current situation of the world. There was a point at which I couldn't stop reading.... and that was well before the half point of the story. It also provides an insight into the military circles and how things work, especially in the Navy.
- Ed V "Codename Honey Pot" is a great effort that reminds me of the early works of Clancy or Coonts. I put the twists and turns in Codename Honey Pot to be on par with "The Hunt of Red October" and "Flight of the Intruder". While both Clancy and Coonts first works were grounded on Cold War battlefields Wander places the reader squarely into the realm of the fight against global Jihadists and their quest for a new caliphate. A great read that will have leave you wanting more and wondering what really is going on in the dark recesses of the war on terror.
I eagerly look forward to additional works by Mr. Wander. -Marco R "Addictive reading...a wonderful combination of razor sharp writing, character depth and an intriguing plot. Once you start reading you won't be able to put it down until the last page. " -Dave R
"Cunning manifestation of ops possibilities in the shadowy world of the GWOT. I was pumping my fist in the air at the outcome!"
